India's imports and exports for the same 15 HS headings as the US tables, as India reports them to UN Comtrade: annual totals, the partner countries behind imports, China's share and how concentrated supply is. Every figure links to the Comtrade request it came from.

Read this first. Annual figures, years reported so far: 2023, 2024, 2025. Pulled 2026-10-16. Values are current US dollars as reported by India; a heading can mix several materials (see the heading name). China's share is of all imports; the concentration index leaves out re-imports from India itself. A dash means the year or flow was not reported, not zero. Informational, not investment advice.

Method

UN Comtrade public API (comtradeapi.un.org, preview endpoint), India (reporter 699) as reporter, annual HS, totals (TOTAL CPC, TOTAL MOT). One request per heading and year for imports (all partners) and for exports (world total); each figure above links to its request. Concentration is the Herfindahl-Hirschman index on import partner shares: below 1,500 unconcentrated, 1,500–2,500 moderate, above 2,500 high. Refreshed monthly by a scheduled job that opens a pull request; nothing is filled in by hand. UN Comtrade terms; attributed. Values in current US dollars as reported to the UN by India.
