Red mud, gallium, scandium and titanium

A saved view for aluminium-chain residue and by-product recovery. It is a keyword and classification filter over the same dataset, not a separate source. 37 patent families, 25 with an Indian applicant; 15 funded projects; 2 recent journal filings.

How the view is built

Title or abstract contains: red mud, bauxite residue, bauxite, alumina, gallium, scandium, titanium, ilmenite or rutile; or the patent is labelled gallium/germanium/indium or titanium by CPC. Records without English text can only match by CPC label. Many older Indian-office records have no English text, so this view undercounts them. It does not show whether any filing is held by a foreign owner or blocks a process; that needs a legal freedom-to-operate review.
